The characteristics of P.E.T monofilaments, they are more strong and more brighter than all others. Technically, they are very resistant to impact, wear and friction. P.E.T raw material's; chemical resistances are high. Also due to the low gas permeability, the life time is longer than other raw materials. According to P.P and P.V.C monofilaments the specific gravity is higher. Generally; in brush industry they are used for, car wash brushes, indoor and outdoor sweeping brushes, door seal brushes groups.

The consumption of P.P monofilaments are very high and also they are the most preferred raw material. P.P is highly resistant to chemical solvents. The usage area should be completely cold surfaces. There is no ethylene mixture in the chemical genetics of P.P. Therefore it is softer than P.E.T and P.V.C. monofilaments. P.P monofilament most preferred reasons; low specific gravity, resistance to chemicals, food compatibility, wear resistant.

P.V.C monofilaments are one of the first plastic raw materials used in the brush industry. They have a great resistance. Therefore it is not easily affected by acids and chemicals. Also P.V.C monofilaments are more resistant to sun rays than P.E.T and P.P. That’s why it is used more in brooms. Softness and hardness can be changed by chemical additives. Therefore, the usage area is wider.
